HCSF/HCSV Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve Hike
Please join HCSF & HCSV for a hike in Purisima Creek Redwoods, starting from the bottom of the hills near Hwy 1.
This hike offers a variety of scenic hiking terrain, from Redwoods forests to exposed ridges with views of the Pacific to evergreen forested hills. It is a 7 mile moderately strenuous hike, with an option to add on an additional 2 and 3/4 miles.
Additional Information: We will start our hike at the small parking lot at the Higgins Creek Trailhead at the intersection of Higgins Canyon Rd and Purisima Creek Rd (NOT from North Parking Lot). The trailhead is 4.5 miles from the intersection of Hwy 1 and Main St. in Half Moon Bay, at the end of Higgins Canyon Road. There is a restroom. The parking lot will undoubtedly be full, but there is plenty of parking along the road.
