First In Person Event Of 2021!: Habitat For Humanity Garden Project - SOLD OUT!

Come join us for the first HCSF in-person event since March of 2020!

We are teaming up with Habitat for Humanity to join them for the first alumni club volunteer event since COVID began. This event will be outdoors and socially distanced. We will be exercising extreme care while having fun and giving back to the community!

We will be tending the the community garden at the Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center Garden, in Bayview. The center is an oasis nestled between industrial warehouses and modern senior citizen apartments. The garden was established in 2016 and since has provided skill-based instruction to over 20 seniors and persons with disabilities annually. They harvest and distribute more than 2000 pieces of produce to homebound seniors through their nutrition meal program each year. Come be a part of it!

We anticipate this event to be popular, and because of limited availability, please only sign up if you are confident you'll be able to join! It is critical that this event be well-attended, as Habitat is relying on HCSF to ensure that the garden is tended to.

Please note that within two weeks of registering, you will receive an email from HCSF asking you to also register with Habitat's online portal. You will need to complete the Habitat registration process in order to attend, so please be on the lookout!
