California Academy of Sciences
55 Music Concourse Dr, San Francisco, CA 94118

April 30, 2016
Join your fellow Harvard alumni for a day full of planets, penguins, and 26 million other specimens at the California Academy of Sciences. The California Academy of Sciences is a renowned scientific and educational institution dedicated to exploring, explaining, and sustaining life on Earth. Based in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, it's the only place in the world to house an aquarium, planetarium, and natural history museum, as well as innovative programs in scientific research and education-all under one living roof.

Start off between 10:30 and 11 a.m. by stopping at a coffee bar, sponsored by the McKinley family, Tom AB '74, Sara AB '03, MBA '07, Frank MBA '07, and Kathryn AB '09. At 11 a.m., listen to a brief welcome address from the Academy, and from 11:30 on, explore the Academy and its many exhibits (see a list here) with Harvard friends and family.
