658-toyprogramHoliday Virtual Toy Drive for Disadvantaged Children

The Harvard Club of San Francisco has supported the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program, for the past several years during our annual Holiday Party. We have joyfully provided several buckets of toys to disadvantaged children.

Given COVID, we are unable to host our annual Holiday Party. While we are disappointed, this year has been even harder for those who were economically disadvantaged to begin with.  This year, more than ever, we would love to continue giving everyone an opportunity to help bring a smile to a child's face this year as well.

Simply buy a ticket (or more!) for this "event" and 100% of the proceeds will go towards buying toys for disadvantaged children. Donations range from $18-$100. Options include Mickey Mouse/Winnie the Pooh, toys reinforcing STEM skills in 8 year olds, to large donations covering several toys/children.

Ticket prices:
Wooden Toolbox Set:
$18
Disney Plush Winnie the Pooh or Mickey Mouse: $20
2 Tipple Topple games (reinforce STEM skills!): $26
Medium Donation (several toys!): $50
Large Donation (several toys!): $100

Deadline: Monday, December 21

Since 1949, the SF Firefighters Toy Program has evolved from a few firefighters repairing broken toys and bikes for 15 families to over 300 firefighters and friends volunteering their time to distribute over 200,000 toys to more than 40,000 disadvantaged children year-around. It is run by the SF Fire Fighters Union, Local 798, is the city's largest and the nation's oldest program of its kind. Their full virtual toy drive list can be found here.
