How To Both Avoid Arthritis And Stay Active To Play The Sports You Love Until Age 100

The old days, when you had arthritis you were told to go home, rest your knee and wait until it hurt so much you couldn’t walk for your knee replacement. When you had a knee replacement you were told to go home and walk, bike and swim but avoid all impact sports. The material and the fixation of the implants was fragile. Robotic accuracy and material improvements have changed all of it. People can now run, climb and ski on their new knee. This talk will highlight these changes and discuss how to both avoid arthritis and stay active to play the sports you love until age 100.
