Peninsula Hike: Wunderlich County Park

A mostly shaded 6-mile hike to beat the heat

Join us for a hike through the woods with moderate elevation gains and beautiful views. We’ll do a 5.9 mile loop trail near Woodside, off Route 84. It’s rated “moderately challenging” because it’s 1100 ft. elevation, but it’s gradual. With a few breaks, should take a bit over 3 hours.

Don’t forget to bring sun protection, water and a hat!

You will need a car to get to the trailhead. Unfortunately, no dogs for this one.

**Full address, parking instructions, and Alltrails map to download the hike will be shared upon registration.

HCSF Covid-19 Guidelines for In-Person Events

HCSF is excited to offer a number of small in-person events. However, there is still uncertainty on how to safely move forward in organizing and holding in-person events. HCSF is vigilant in its planning of in-person events and respects state and federal guidelines regarding small gatherings. HCSF events are currently for fully vaccinated and boosted people only and masks are encouraged but not required. Keeping everyone’s safety in mind, we are looking forward to seeing you at one of our many upcoming events. When registering for this event you are confirming that you are fully vaccinated and boosted.
