Berkeley After-Work Hike at Claremont Canyon

Short, steep hike with drinks, dinner afterwards

The Stonewall-Panoramic Trail of Claremont Canyon Regional Preserve packs 700 feet of elevation gain into just 3/4 of a mile of dusty, rocky trail. It's a great way to get fresh air and firm those buttocks at the end of a work day.

The preserve behind the Claremont Hotel is a beautiful area with a great view from the top, dog friendly, and takes only 45-60 minutes out and back. This is not a sprint, so as long as you are up for a spirited climb, come join us!

The silty path can be quite slippery, so wear shoes with excellent tread (trail runners if you have them). Poles can be handy for going both up and down.

We’ll celebrate our accomplishment with beers/dinner afterward at Beer Baron in Rockridge.

Trailhead meetup location will be emailed to registered participants on June 14.

There should be ample, free street parking.
