20181110hcsfCrystal Springs Hike w/ MITCNC and CMU

Please join us for a walk along the scenic shores of Crystal Springs Reservoir

This hike is pretty civilized, what with one part having park benches and the paved trail with a dashed yellow line down the middle (there's even a speed limit!).

Despite the civilized location, the Sawyer Camp trail is quite lovely. It brings you right up to the gorgeous Crystal Springs and San Andreas lakes -- you know, the ones you see along I-280. Even for the Bay Area, this area is exceptionally beautiful.

Highlights include the 600-year-old Jepson Laurel tree.

Please note Sawyer Camp Trail is wheelchair accessible, but off limits to dogs.

There are restrooms available along this trail. And participants can tailor the length of this hike to their liking by turning back at any point in the hike.
