Due to the novel COVID-19 virus, HCSF is cancelling in-person events until further notice, we will offer a few events via Zoom.
We will keep you informed as the situation evolves, and as we postpone or virtualize future events. We believe that this is the right choice for the health and safety of our community – always our top priority.
In the meantime, you can help flatten the curve of this disease by staying up-to-date, taking precautions, and spreading awareness. It is our responsibility to avoid overwhelming the healthcare system or infecting vulnerable populations.

As many of you have heard, Harvard will conduct classes virtually for the rest of the term, and all students living on campus have been asked to vacate by this Sunday, March 15. While this is important for student health & safety, it is also a stressful circumstance.
The outpouring of support from alumni and from offices at Harvard has been encouraging. The College is dedicated to providing support to students most in need during this difficult time. FAQs from the Harvard College Dean of Students Office.
Many alumni have asked how they can help. Our current recommendations:
- To support students financially, make an immediate-use gift directed to areas of greatest need at the College. These contributions will have an immediate impact on our students during this difficult time.
- The First Generation Harvard Alumni group has organized a sign up form for Boston-area alumni who can offer students longer-term housing or storage for belongings through June.
