Harvard Club of San Francisco 2016 Annual Dinner

Featuring Distinguished Citizen of the Year
Nathan Blecharczyk (Harvard ’05), Airbnb Co-Founder

The Harvard Club of San Francisco is pleased to announce Nathan Blecharczyk, Airbnb Co-founder and Harvard College ’05, as the recipient of the 2016 Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award.

Nathan graduated from Harvard College in 2005 and co-founded Airbnb in 2008. Airbnb is a trusted community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique accommodations around the world. Whether an apartment for a night, a castle for a week, or a villa for a month, Airbnb connects people with unique travel experiences – thus far, more than 80 million guests in 34,000+ cities and 190+ countries. After raising $1.5 billion last year, Airbnb became the third most valuable privately held startup, valued at over $25 billion.

Please join us at the HCSF Annual Dinner and award presentation to honor Nathan, vote in the new Officers who will guide HCSF in the coming year, and recognize the service of the Club’s outgoing Officers, the Board of Directors and other Harvard alumni volunteers.  Mingle with fellow members of the Harvard Club of San Francisco (hcsanfrancisco.clubs.harvard.edu), Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs (www.harvardae.org) and other Harvard alumni and friends.
The Annual Dinner will be held at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco on the Embarcadero waterfront across from the historic Ferry Building.
