Attendees with have the opportunity to reconnect with alumni, friends, and SF Opera's BRAVO! members at the Pre-Performance Social.
 

**PLEASE NOTE: In order to attend the Pre-Performance Social, attendees must purchase a ticket to the evening's performance to attend HERE and comply with COVID safety guidelines described below.
 

As the featured opera performance is Christoph Willibald Gluck's Orpheus and Eurydice, guests will have the opportunity to socialize with alumni and friends, and learn more from SF Opera's featured speaker.

EVENT ITINERARY

  • 6:00-6:45pm Pre-performance Social begins (located on 4th Floor's North Dress Circle. Please enter building through the North Carriage Doors facing courtyard side of the Opera House)
  • 6:45-7:05pm Featured Speaker discusses about Christoph Willibald Gluck's work
  • 7:05-7:10pm Featured Speakers answers questions
  • 7:10-7:30pm Attendees are seated before performance begins
  • 7:30pm Performance begins

**The pre-performance reception will be held in the North Dress Circle, which is on the courtyard side of the 4th floor of the Opera House.
 

Doors will be open to the public at 6:30pm. Anyone arriving for the reception between 6 and 6:30pm needs to enter through the North Carriage Doors, which are on the courtyard side of the Opera House (the Grove Street and Van Ness Ave entrances will be closed until 6:30pm)
 

COVID SAFETY GUIDELINES:

Your safety and well-being is our highest priority. We encourage those attending to be fully vaccinated, test negative for COVID, and not experience symptoms. In alignment to CDC recommendations, determine whether you're advised to wear a mask indoors HERE.

PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIRED:

Please note: SF Opera requires proof of vaccination, booster, and masks while inside the Opera House.
 

All patrons aged 12 and older, who are eligible*, must show proof of a booster shot received at least 7 days prior to the event or performance, in addition to proof of full vaccination (defined as two weeks after your final shot), along with a matching photo ID.
 

Also, all children ages 5 to 11 are required to provide proof of full vaccination (defined as two weeks after their final shot). If bringing a child under the age of 5, who is not eligible for the vaccine, please call the Box Office to purchase tickets. Children under the age of 5 will be required to show proof of a negative "rapid" antigen test taken within one calendar day prior to entry or a negative PCR test taken within two calendar days prior to entry. *Eligibility is defined strictly by the number of calendar days past completion of an initial vaccination series. Doctor recommendation, recent COVID illness, averse vaccine reaction, medical condition, etc., do not determine eligibility.
 

MASK REQUIREMENT:

All patrons must wear well-fitted masks that cover their nose, mouth, and chin when inside the facility unless they are actively eating or drinking. A non-vented N95 mask is strongly recommended.
