About the Speaker:
Oisin Hanrahan | Angi & Handy former CEO Oisin Hanrahan is currently an active angel investor and advisor, with a portfolio of over 50 companies. Most recently he served as the CEO of NASDAQ listed Angi Inc (Angie’s List / HomeAdvisor) since 2021. Prior to assuming the role of CEO of Angi, Mr. Hanrahan served as Chief Product Officer of Angi since 2019, where he was responsible for all product and technology strategy. Mr. Hanrahan joined Angi in 2018 when Handy, the company he co-founded and led as CEO since 2012, was acquired by Angi. Mr. Hanrahan built Handy to hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue, and raised over $100m of institutional capital, before exiting to Angi. Prior to Handy, Mr. Hanrahan built a real estate development business in Budapest, Hungary that built dozens of apartments in the city center.
Mr. Hanrahan has served as the US Commerce Secretary on the Digital Economy Board of Advisors in 2016 – 2017, during a period of unprecedented change in the application of technology to the labor force. He has spent time working on the issue of worker classification and addressed unions, congressmen, and senators, including the US Senate Democratic Caucus. Mr. Hanrahan also co-founded The Undergraduate Awards, a foundation he created in 2009 to support and celebrate outstanding undergraduate students globally.
Mr. Hanrahan’s work has been written about extensively in major media, mostly notably in the WSJ, NY Times and Forbes. He has appeared frequently on CNBC, MSNBC, Fox and Bloomberg. He has given talks at conferences, including Milken Institute and Web Summit, and guest lectured at universities including NYU and Columbia.
Mr. Hanrahan studied for his Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, received a Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics, and a Business and Economics degree from Trinity College Dublin.

Wendi Zhang Wendi Zhang has over 15 years of professional experience in high tech, entrepreneurship, and early-stage venture capital - with expertise in building win-win partnerships across all sectors: private, public, and nonprofit. She is currently the VP of Business Development, Operations & People at Celential.ai and a Board of Trustee member for The SETI Institute. In her free time, she also serves as a Career Coach for Harvard Business School. Previously, Wendi was the Business Development Partner for Gradient Ventures (Google's AI Fund), where she advised Gradient's portfolio companies on their business challenges and helped them forge partnerships with Fortune500 companies as well as public and nonprofit entities. She has also led business development/product partnerships for Google Pixel, Wearables, and Accessories as well as a few verticals of Google Home and Chromecast within Google's Devices & Services (formerly Google Hardware) team, ran go-to-market for 3 tech startups, and contributed to entrepreneurship development policies and analysis in the public sector. |
