Calming The Mind in Stressful Times
How to navigate turbulent times with peace of mind
This 45-minute workshop is led by Harvard MBA Timothy Swords, a seasoned corporate leader and executive coach, who has been practicing meditation for over 30 years. In this session, you will learn the science-proven immediate and long-term benefits of mindfulness, explore the critical role of emotional resilience in leadership, and discover how mindfulness can enhance decision-making, clarity, and empathy in high-pressure environments.
Following a short talk, Timothy will guide you through a 20-minute meditation, followed by a 90-second “emergency ground-ing” tool that will empower you to regain clarity and focus in moments of stress. Through these practices, you will gain insights into how mindfulness impacts both personal growth and professional success, enabling you to lead with authenticity,resilience, and purpose in both corporate and nonprofit settings. The workshop concludes with a Q&A, where participants
can ask specific questions related to integrating mindfulness into their leadership practices.
