Inside OpenAIInside OpenAI’s GTM Revolution: Fireside Chat w/ Aliisa Rosenthal, Former Head of Sales @ OpenAI

Join us for an exclusive fireside chat with Aliisa Rosenthal, Former Head of Sales at OpenAI, as we go Inside OpenAI’s GTM Revolution — the untold story of how OpenAI transformed from a research lab with just a few million dollars in annual revenue into one of the fastest-growing companies in history.

When Aliisa joined OpenAI in early 2022, the sales team consisted of just two people, there was no clear go-to-market strategy, and even top VCs doubted whether OpenAI had found product–market fit. Aliisa helped shape OpenAI’s commercial strategy and navigate the challenges of selling cutting-edge AI to some of the world’s largest enterprises. Over the course of 3 years, she grew OpenAI’s sales team from 2 people to 100+, and their revenue run rate from $10M to $10B.

In this conversation, Aliisa will share:

  • The early GTM challenges that OpenAI faced and how they overcame them
  • What it took to sell AI before AI sold itself
  • Lessons on building trust, driving adoption, and scaling a product category that didn’t yet exist
  • Her personal decision-making journey: why she took the leap when the people around her told her not to

Whether you’re a founder, sales leader, or product innovator, this event offers rare insights into what it takes to bring transformative technology to market.
