Community Service Event: GLIDE Memorial Church
Join us to help serve dinner to San Franciscans impacted by food insecurity.
GLIDE is a nationally recognized center for social justice, dedicated to fighting systemic injustices, creating pathways out of poverty and crisis, and transforming lives.
GLIDE’s Daily Free Meals Program provides three nutritious meals a day, 364 days a year, to the poor, houseless and hungry. As GLIDE’s largest program, it serves as a gateway to the rest of GLIDE’s programs and services, such as health care, literacy classes, and youth mentorship.
GLIDE welcomes youth from age 9 on up. All youth under 18 must have their parent/guardian print, fill out, and sign a Minor Waiver. All volunteers must wear close-toed shoes and shirts with long or short sleeves (no sleeveless).
GLIDE is located at 330 Ellis St, San Francisco, CA 94102, on the corner of Ellis & Taylor - a short walk from the Powell MUNI/BART Stations.
