About Consul General Carnelos:
A career diplomat, he served as the Head of Technological Innovation and Startups at the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; as the Head of the Economic Section of the Italian Embassy in London; on the Board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development; and as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassies in New Zealand, Cyprus, among others. He has an M.A. from the Sapienza University of Rome.
