Community Service: Florence Fang SF Community Farm!Community Service: Florence Fang SF Community Farm!

Come support the largest community farm in San Francisco

This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy the outdoors, gardening and interacting with a diverse community. We recommend participants to wear closed-toe shoes and clothes they don't mind getting dirty along with bringing water, a hat, sunscreen and gardening gloves. Much of the day involves bending, stretching and light lifting like pulling weeds, digging soil, shoveling mulch and other tasks in regards to maintaining our crops and farm grounds.

Established in 2014, the Florence Fang Community Farm now serves over 100 Bayview-Hunters Point families by hosting volunteer farmers from the neighborhood with many seeking a space to grow healthy and culturally-familiar produce as well as share generational knowledge on horticulture.

Also, feel free to take pictures and videos at the farm and tag and follow Florence Fang @ffcommunityfarm!
