Guest Speaker: Professor Mark Neckes

Professor Neckes has an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Psychology and a graduate degree in Secondary Education Administration.

Professor Neckes’ area of expertise is in the area of Consumer Behavior and ethical Sales. When the internet was becoming an important sales tool, He worked with a law professor to develop one of the first courses in Cyber Law. He started to look at unethical sales and began to establishing methods to help consumers wade through the language of contracts.

Upon retiring in Western Florida, He discovered the organization called Seniors vs Crime. This a volunteer organization is special project of the Attorney General of the
state of Florida. Its prime purpose is the help seniors with scams and unethical business practices. Professor Neckes has been worked for Seniors vs Crime for the past ten
years and is considered a Senior investigator. He specializes in automobile dealerships; however, he works as an advisor on all aspects of the scam industry. Yes, it is an
industry.
