Meet at public restroom at 1600 March Road, Menlo Park. 1600 Marsh Rd - Google Maps
or https://what3words.com/bolt.crash.robe.
There is plenty of free parking in parking lots and on the side of the road along
Marsh Road, before, “at”, and after the public restroom.
We will do one casually-paced 2.3 mile lap of the perimeter trail, which is totally flat.
Optional additional route: we will continue for another 2 to 4 miles up and down hills in the interior of the park, while those who opt out can do another lap of the perimeter trail.
Total elevation gain of up to about 600 feet.
The hike is easy for those not doing the hilly interior, and on the easy end of moderate for those who do.
There is almost no shade.
Pets are allowed under park rules, but must remain on leash and under full control at all times.
For those interested, we will have lunch afterwards at a local restaurant.
