The Harvard Club of Silicon Valley invites you to join us for our inaugural event at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula on September 25. Volunteers will work with two 5th, 8th, or 12th graders (age-level to be determined by your preference), for an hour each, on crafting early drafts of personal statements for private school and college applications. We will also hear from the Executive Director (HBS '94), Director of School-Site Programs (Harvard College, BA '99), and College Bound Director for Menlo Park (Harvard College, BA' 05) about BGCP's work. The session will close with a group discussion about volunteers' experience working with the youth.
The session will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at BGCP's Menlo Park clubhouse, at 401 Pierce Rd, on the eastern side of 101.
