Date: Wednesday, May 22nd
Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm
The Dartmouth Alumni Association of Silicon Valley (@daasv) is pleased to present our Dartmouth Thought Leader Series for 2013. This spring, our inaugural session features Michael Chui and the McKinsey Global Institute’s latest insights on Unlocking Value and Productivity Through Social Technologies, followed by a fireside chat with Twitter’s President of Global Revenue, Adam Bain, on The Next Level of Value Creation, interviewed by Hugo Sarrazin, Leader of McKinsey & Company's Business Technology Practice.
The McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), the business and economics research arm of McKinsey, was established in 1990 to develop a deeper understanding of the evolving global economy. MGI's mission is to provide leaders in the commercial, public, and social sectors with the facts and insights on which to base management and policy decisions.
Research by the McKinsey Global Institute finds that the value creation potential of social technologies within and across enterprises and the consumer landscape is largely untapped—with eye-popping possible gains. Where will it have the greatest economic value—enterprise or consumer? What is its potential for making knowledge workers more productive? What will it take to get there?
