crypto-currency-walletSOLD OUT: The Future of Money

This event is a chance to learn about digital currency and blockchain basics from two leaders in the field.

Over the last few years, over $1 billion has been invested into blockchain startups. First conceptualized in 2008, a blockchain is a decentralized database of transactions run on a peer-to-peer network. Blockchain transactions are secure, verifiable, and permanent without relying on a trusted authority or central server.

This event is a chance to learn blockchain basics from two visionaries in the field. Topics will include the application of blockchains to medical records, smart contracts, and global currency exchange, as well as the risks and opportunities associated with emerging blockchain currencies like Bitcoin, Ripple, and Ethereum.
