"It's amazing how excellent much of it is," Ernest Hemingway said about Tender is the Night, F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1934 novel about Americans living in the south of France in the 1920s. Let's find out if Hemingway is right! Pick up the book and join us for our next meeting on September 19. In previous meetings, we've discussed To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf, Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie, and The Trial by Franz Kafka. Come with suggestions for books you'd like to read. E-mail Yvonne Tsang at ytsang@post.harvard.edu with any questions.
