We'll decode hashtags and twitter lingo in this fun, info-packed, interactive session—just in time for the Dartmouth Thought Leader Series being hosted at Twitter on May 22nd.
Laurie Kretchmar ‘84 loves content marketing, social media, and PR. She has more than 15 years experience working with local, national and international media. For the past two years, she served as media and social media director for The 2012 Project, a national, nonpartisan campaign to increase the number of women in Congress and state legislatures. Previously, Laurie was a journalist on staff at leading publications including Fortune and Working Woman. She has extensive Internet experience, starting in the mid-1990s, and was founding Editor in Chief and Vice President at Women.com Networks, the first major website for women. Laurie’s freelance writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal and the International Herald Tribune. She teaches popular seminars and workshops on using social media, the art of moderating panel discussions, getting published in print and online, conducting great interviews, writing, and other topics.
