Harvard Club of San Francisco
Cordially invites you to our Annual Dinner
Featuring the 48th "Distinguished Citizen of the Year" Award
Larry Baer
President & CEO of the San Francisco Giants

Wednesday, January 14, 2026
Come hear what’s on deck for the next season of GIANTS BASEBALL!
What better way to start the New Year than to celebrate Harvard’s own Larry Baer, HBS ’85, for his 34-year stewardship at the San Francisco Giants. We’ll honor the business leader who has guided the Giants to three World Series championships, four National League pennants, and six division titles. In a fireside chat with fellow Harvard alumnus Sean Jacobsohn, HBS ’98, Larry will give us the scouting report on the upcoming season, both on and off the field, news on the players, and the lineup for 2026.
Don’t miss this opportunity to honor a distinguished alumnus and get a front-row seat for what’s next for the orange and black.
And There’s More! Harvard’s A Cappella Legends, the Din & Tonics
With a grand slam performance, we’ll start the year on a high note with the Din & Tonics’ jazz-infused, witty, and harmonious repertoire.
The Harvard Din & Tonics are Harvard University’s signature jazz a cappella group. Their repertoire centers around American jazz standards but also includes pop and folk music. These world-touring Harvard students—who perform in white tie and tails, garnished with lime green socks—are known for their impeccable musicality, snappy choreography, and hilarious antics.
Join your fellow Harvard alumni for an annual dinner filled with insights and uplifting fun.

THE CLUB
Since the Harvard Club of San Francisco’s first meeting in January 1874—a year after the cable cars were introduced to the city—we have focused on recruiting candidates, mentorship, community service, and importantly, raising funds for deserving students to attend Harvard. Our official scholarship fund was founded in 1946, and since that time the Harvard Club of San Francisco has continuously granted over $2.5 million in scholarships to 500+ students from the Bay Area.
