Please join the Harvard Club of San Francisco and the Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Network for an exclusive reception and conversation with the Portuguese Consul General in San Francisco, Nuno Mathias, on What Makes Portugal Europe's West Coast. A pioneer in renewable energy, with an emerging tech scene, Portugal even has its own famous bridge and cable cars.


In prior roles, Mr. Mathias has served as advisor for Portugal at the United Nations General Assembly, in the Portuguese Embassies in Mozambique and Washington, DC and at the Directorate General for European Affairs in the European Commission.
