Harvard Book Prize

Started in 1910, the Harvard Book Prize is an important way for the Harvard Club to recognize the achievements of local high school students who have made positive contributions to their school and community. Additionally, the award helps raise the profile of Harvard, oftentimes prompting talented juniors to apply to prominent universities (and especially Harvard), which they might not have considered prior to receiving the Book Prize. The Book Prize also helps Harvard establish better communications with local schools.

Last year we distributed prize books to over 25 high schools in the San Francisco area. This year, with your help, we hope to recognize an even greater number of young scholars in Northern California. Donors are invited to sponsor a particular school for 1, 3, 5, or 10 years at a cost of $50 per book. Please click here to make your tax deductible contribution online: click here
