Our moderator for this month’s meeting has requested that attendees pay particular attention to the following four stories:
“Grief” (p30)
"The Beggar" (p 161)
“Kolodya" (p 192)
"The New Dacha” (p 483)
Our discussion may also reference lessons learned through the group's 2022 reading of George Saunders' A Swim in a Pond in the Rain: In Which Four Russians Give a Master Class on Writing, Reading, and Life, but reading Saunders’ book is not a prerequisite for this meeting.
