HCSF & HCSV Purisima Creek Preserve Hike - Social Distancing Observed Per County Guidelines
Please join HCSF & HCSV for a hike in Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve.
Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve offers a variety of scenic hiking terrain, from Redwoods forests, shaded gulches, to exposed ridges with views of the Pacific. We’ll explore the park in a small group and do a 9-11 mile hard/moderate difficulty hike.
Additional Information: We will start our hike from North Parking lot.
Important: Bring enough water, snacks, and sunblock to last you through a 10 mile/3-5 hour hike
Please note this hike is STRENUOUS. It is not technically difficult, but there route is long, with sustained steep portions. Total distance of 10+ miles, 2100+ feet of elevation gain.
To minimize COVID-19 risks, we will try to keep the group size small. Please bring masks to wear during breaks/when socializing with other attendees, and remember to maintain 6' of physical separation at all times.
