The Future of Reproduction and Healthy Aging -SOLD OUT

Meet the scientists and physicians making the discoveries and translating them to patients, tour a laboratory, mingle with Harvard alums, and take in the soaring views from the UCSF Ray and Dagmar Dolby Regeneration Medicine Building.

A revolution in science and medicine is poised to transform the way we reproduce. The technologies of in vitro fertilization (IVF), fetal surgery, stem cells, DNA sequencing, and CRISPR genome editing are coalescing to realize new options for conceiving, diagnosing, and treating diseases before birth and even extending our years of fertility and health. Join the director of the UCSF Broad Stem Cell Center and renowned fetal surgeon Tippi MacKenzie, MD (AB ’91) and Professor of Ob/Gyn and Stem Cells Diana Laird, PhD (AB '95). Doors open at 5pm; come early to enjoy light refreshments on the outdoor terrace before the presentation starts at 5:30pm.
