The Founders Series
Each quarter we will feature Harvard alumni who have taken the plunge and started their own venture here in the Bay area.
This June, join us in welcoming Alex Rampell (AB '03) who co-founded TrialPay in 2006.

A Preview of What to Expect
As consumers have flocked to the Internet over the past 15 years, so too have advertisers. In constant search of "eyeballs," companies have innovated on how to reach and ultimately engage these consumers: floating ads, expanding ads, pop-overs, pop-unders, mobile ads, you name it! TrialPay has innovated on all of this still by developing a unqiue model for brands to engage and retain their customers online. TrialPay's "transactional advertising" will offer users, say, a discount to one service if they sign up for another. This talk is a must-see for anyone interested in advertising and technology!

Alex Rampell is the co-founder and CEO of TrialPay, where he is responsible for general management and building corporate infrastructure. Prior to TrialPay, Alex co-founded FraudEliminator, the first consumer anti-phishing company, which merged into SiteAdvisor and was acquired by McAfee in April 2006. Alex began his career writing and selling consumer software on bulletin board systems and the nascent Internet. His first successful company, started at age 11, gained hundreds of thousands of paying consumers worldwide and had products featured in Forbes, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, “Today,” CNBC and BusinessWeek.
